Chat Feature - Current CTS Subscribers

Cox High Speed Internet customers who are currently Cox Technical Solutions subscribers, can use the PC HealthCheck Chat feature to chat in real time with a Cox Technical Solutions technician.

Important: Using the PC HealthCheck Chat feature requires a paid subscription to Cox Technical Solutions. Once you link the Chat feature to your Cox Technical Solutions account, it will automatically link the PC HealthCheck Contact, Capture and Service features to your account.

Open dashboard by either clicking shortcut or taskbar icon. 

 -or-

From the Cox PC HealthCheck Dashboard located on your desktop click the Chat icon.

Click the Link PC HealthCheck to your Current Cox Technical Solutions button.

Result: The PC HealthCheck/Cox Technical Solutions Initial Registration screen displays.

Enter your Cox Technical Solutions User ID (email address) and Password and Click the Login button.

Result: The Cox Technical Solutions instant message dialog box displays.

Once you complete your conversation, click the Disconnect button to end the chat session.

Result: The Chat window closes and you are returned to the Desktop. 

Chat Feature - Non-CTS Subscribers

Current Cox High Speed Internet customers, who are not Cox Technical Solutions subscribers, must create a Cox Technical Solution account in order to use the Chat feature.

Important: Using the PC HealthCheck Chat feature requires a paid subscription to Cox Technical Solutions. Once you create a Cox Technical Solutions account, it will automatically link the PC HealthCheck Chat, Contact, Capture, and Service features to your account.

Open dashboard by either clicking shortcut or taskbar icon. 

 -or-

From the Cox PC HealthCheck Dashboard located on your desktop click the Chat icon.

Result: The Cox PC HealthCheck Account screen displays.

Click the Link PC HealthCheck to your Current Cox Tech Solutions button.

Result: The PC HealthCheck/Cox Tech Solutions Initial Registration screen displays.

Click the Next button.

Result: The Cox Technical Solutions Identification screen displays.

Enter your First Name, Last Name, and E-mail Address and click the Next button.

Result: The Cox Technical Solutions Create User ID and Password screen displays.

Complete the Password, Re-Type Password and Validation Code fields and click the Finish button.

Note: Passwords must be at least eight characters in length and must include letters and numbers.

Result: The Cox Technical Solutions instant message dialog box displays.

Wait for the Cox Technical Solutions technician to connect, enter your question, and click the Send button.

Result: Chat session begins with the Cox Technical Solutions technician.

Once you complete your conversation, click the Disconnect button to end the chat session.

Result: The Chat window closes and you are returned to the Desktop.
