Fake anti-virus software removal
Fake anti-virus software can affect your computer’s settings and trick you into buying unnecessary or malicious software. Here’s how to remove it:
If you’re a PC user, go to the Windows Control Panel, choose the Add/Remove icon, then uninstall the fake software. If you’re a Mac user, go to the Applications folder and move the software to the trash.
Using your anti-virus software, run a full system scan in Safe Mode.
