If my device is eligible, how soon and where can I get my cracked screen repaired?
If your device is eligible for cracked screen repair, once your claim is approved, the claims expert or web portal will inform you of the options available. Options may include taking your device to a local repair location, having a technician come to you or mailing your device in for repair. In select areas, same-day repair is available subject to parts and technician availability.
How many times can I file a claim for a battery replacement?
You will be able to file an unlimited number of claims for device malfunctions related to your battery after the manufacturer’s warranty expires and after completion of diagnostic testing. Battery replacement claims do not count toward the Plan’s claim limits. Battery replacement is for eligible devices and subject to technician and parts availability.
What locations are available for me to get a battery replacement?
If your device is eligible for battery replacement, once your claim is approved, the claims expert will inform you of the options available. Options may include taking your device to a local repair location or having a technician come to you. Repair options are all subject to parts, location and technician availability.

What does the insurance program included in Cox Mobile Protection Plan not cover?
Indirect or consequential loss and loss caused by intentional acts, obsolescence, cosmetic damage, faulty repair, unauthorized repair or replacement, discharge, dispersal or abuse, failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions, manufacturer recall, mechanical or electrical failure, accidental damage from handling, damage to batteries (unless otherwise covered as part of an Included Accessory when part of a Loss to other Covered Property), malware, nuclear reaction, war, seizure, nonstandard software, and failure to reasonably protect the device from further loss are excluded. Why do I need a Cox Mobile Protection Plan when some devices come with a warranty?
While new devices generally come with a manufacturer’s warranty, that warranty may only cover some issues (like mechanical and electrical breakdown) for a limited time period (typically 12 months). Asurion can help connect you with the manufacturer if the warranty covers the breakdown. Cox Mobile Protection Plan provides benefits above and beyond the manufacturer’s warranty for a monthly charge, plus any applicable taxes.
Who provides the Cox Mobile Protection Plan?
Cox Mobile Protection Plan is a combination of insurance, service contract, and technical support. The insurance is underwritten by Allianz Global Risks US Insurance Company; Asurion Insurance Services, Inc. (in California, Agent license #0B35141; in Iowa, Agent #1001000131) is the Agent and provides claims servicing under this program. The service contract is provided by Asurion Technology Services, Inc., or one of its affiliates. The technical support is provided by Asurion Technology Services, Inc. and Asurion Mobile Applications, LLC.
