Cox Email Creation Policy

In recent years, fewer customers have taken advantage of a Cox Email account, so we decided to modify our email service to better serve our customers. As of August 15, 2019, Cox no longer offers the ability for new and existing Cox Internet customers to create new Cox Email accounts.

Customers with Cox Email accounts created prior to August 15, 2019, will continue to receive support for those email accounts.

Additional Questions and Answers

View the following frequently asked questions about the Cox Email Creation Policy. For any additional questions, contact us or send a text message to 54512.

Can I still create primary and secondary user IDs to access my account profile?

Yes, you may create one primary ID and up to nine secondary users IDs. However, a new Cox Email address can not be assigned to these additional user IDs. Secondary user IDs will continue to have separate sign-in credentials from the primary user ID.

Does this impact the way I sign in to My Account or Cox mobile apps?

No, this will not change from how you sign in today.

Will I lose my Cox Email address if I move or transfer service?

No, if you transfer your service you can keep your email account. However, if you disconnect your service, you will lose your email account after the 90-day grace period has ended.
