Cox continues to support existing customers with Cox Email; however, we no longer offer the ability for new and existing Cox Internet customers to create new Cox Email accounts.

With Cox Email, you receive the following benefits.

  • Keep viruses and spam away with SpamBlocker.
  • Check your email anytime, anywhere – even on the go.

Accessing Cox Email

Cox Email is accessible via the following methods.

  • Cox Email online via myemail.cox.net
  • Email client software for Windows and macOS
  • Android and iOS email clients

Packages and Features

Use the following table to learn more about Cox Email features.

2 GB per mailbox for all Internet packages except the following:

Email account message sending limits To combat spam, Cox places various limits on email, including limiting the maximum number of recipients per message and the maximum number of messages per server connection.
Inactive account After 120 days of email account inactivity, the email inbox and all content is no longer accessible and can't be restored or reactivated
Account Termination Upon disconnection of your Cox High-Speed Internet Service, Cox deletes your email address, mailbox, all email messages, and the associated content from each Cox Email address associated with your account within 90 days of disconnection.

Note: If you reinstall Cox Internet at a later date, we are unable to restore the email address or messages.

Changing your Cox Internet package can affect the storage size of your mailbox. If you downgrade your Internet package, then you will need to manage your mailbox to below the storage limit of your new package to avoid losing email.
