Solution

As of April 9, 2014, Microsoft no longer supports Windows XP. Cox only provides limited support of Windows XP that includes network connectivity and basic settings.

How do I edit a Vista Mail account?

See steps below to edit a Vista Mail account.

  1. Open Windows Mail.
  2. Click Tools, then Accounts.

  1. Select the account you want to change, then click Properties.
  2. Make your server changes then follow the instructions to complete the edit. See the Microsoft support link at the start of this article for more information.

To delete the Vista account, use the following steps.

  1. Click Tools, then Accounts.
  2. Choose the account you want to remove, then click Remove.
  3. Click Yes to confirm.

How do I edit an Outlook account in Windows 7 and XP?

  2. Click Account Information.
  3. Click Account Settings.
  4. Select the account you want to change, then click Change.
