Add or Remove Paperless Billing in MyAccount

Solution


Prior to completing these steps, you must confirm that you have a Billing Contact entered on your MyAccount profile. If you do not have a Billing Contact, see Managing Cox Business Accounts Online.

Follow these steps to set up or cancel paperless billing for your Cox Business statements in MyAccount.

Go to Myaccount.coxbusiness.com, enter your User ID and Password, and then click Sign In.
 

Note: If you have not created a MyAccount profile with a User ID and Password, see Setting Up Your MyAccount Profile.

From the Administrative Tools and Service Management section, click the Billing and Payments icon.

Do you have more than one account?

  • If no, then continue to the next step.
  • If yes, then from the Select an account drop-down menu, select the account to modify.

From the Details Billing page, use the following table to turn on or off paperless billing.
 

If you are...Then...
Adding paperless billing
  1. Click to toggle the Paperless billing switch to on.

  2. Do you have more than one account?
    • If no, then a confirmation message displays. All steps complete.
    • If yes, then from the Turn on Paperless Billing pop-up window complete the following.
      1. Click to check all of the accounts you want to change to paperless billing.
      2. Click Save Changes.

        Result: A confirmation message displays.
Note: The monthly bill is ready notification is sent to the email address provided in the Paperless billing row on the Billing Details page. To manage additional email and SMS notification settings, click on the pencil icon next to the email address to expand the Billing and Payment Notifications section for more options.
Removing paperless billing
  1. Click to toggle the Paperless billing switch to off.

  2. From the Turn Off Paperless Billing pop-up window, determine if the displayed mailing address is correct.
    • If yes, then continue to the next step.
    • If no, then complete the following.
      1. Click the Edit link next to Mailing address.
      2. Enter the correct mailing address.
      3. Click the Change Mailing Address button.
  3. Click the Turn Off Paperless Billing button.
