Replacing the PowerG Door / Window Sensor Battery

Solution

The PowerG door / window sensor requires one CR2450 battery.

Insert a coin in the slot and twist gently to remove the cover.

Note: If a coin is not available, insert a small flat-head screwdriver into the side slot of the plastic cover and twist to open each side.

To remove the battery, wedge a flat-head screwdriver under the battery, and then twist the screwdriver using the base as a lever.

Insert the CR2450 battery at an angle and press down on the battery until it fits into place.

Note: The writing on the battery should be facing up.

Snap the cover into place and ensure it is closed securely to avoid any tamper notifications.
