Unenrolling From Two-Step Verification in the Cox App

Solution

Complete the following steps to unenroll from Two-Step Verification (TSV) in the Cox App.

Note: Previously compromised accounts and Cox Mobile accounts require TSV.

Open the Cox App.

Enter your User ID and Password.

Note: If you do not remember your User ID or Password, or experience an issue signing in, see Recover Your Cox User ID or Reset Your Cox Password.

Tap the Account tab and then select Password & Security.

From the Two-Step Verification section, select Edit.

From the Verified section, select the verification method you want to unenroll.

Complete the following steps.

  1. From the Details screen, tap Delete.
  2. From the confirmation pop-up, tap Yes.

    Result: The verification method displays in the Other Method(s) section to verify that you are unenrolled.
