Accessing the Disney+ Menu Options

Solution

Use the steps below to access the Disney+ options menu.

Note: A Disney+ subscription is required. Additional features, such as maintaining orders and subscriptions, purchase history, available credit, and much more are available on the Disney+ website.

Using the Cox remote, from the Disney+ app, In the left-hand menu, select the Settings icon.

Choose an option from the displayed list. Refer to the table below for a description of each item.

OptionDescription
App Settings

Provides options for data usage to choose between using data or quality of streaming content.

  • Automatic - Streams in highest HD quality available up to 4 GB/hr.
  • Moderate - Uses less data streaming up to HD at 2 GB/hr of data.
  • Save Data - Uses the least amount of data in SD, streaming at 0.7 GB/hr. 
Account

Displays and provides the ability to perform the following.

  • Change the associated email.
  • Change the associated password.
  • Log out of all devices.

    Note: This option logs you out of all devices authorized to this account. This includes smartphones, tablets, or other televisions that this account is logged in to.
