Summer nights are made for reality TV fun.

There’s something about reality TV that just keeps us coming back for more. Ever since the creation of shows like Big Brother, Survivor and American Idol, this genre has become a guilty pleasure for millions of people around the globe. Luckily, ABC has some drama-filled shows slated to air this summer for your viewing pleasure. Turn on your TV, open the Cox Contour App and get ready for a summer of reality TV fun.

Holey Moley

Putter-up for ABC’s extreme mini-golf competition series—Holey Moley. This isn’t your average mini-golf course. Be prepared to see mini-golf lovers from around the country compete head-to-head on an oversized obstacle golf course. Eight contestants will put their golf and physical skills to the test through various challenges. The winners of each episode will return to the course in hopes of winning a $250,000 prize in the all-star grand finale. This show is set to air June 17 at 9 p.m. CT on ABC and Hulu.

The Celebrity Dating Game

Ever wonder how celebrities date? Through friends, of course. Former New Girl star Zooey Deschanel and singer-songwriter Michael Bolton are playing matchmakers as co-hosts of ABC’s newest reality show—The Celebrity Dating Game. The retro-decorated show is based on the original Dating Game that aired on ABC back in the ‘60s. In this modern twist, non-famous suitors attempt to guess the identity of participating celebrity contestants through a series of clues, questions and parody performances by Bolton. Find out which of Hollywood’s most eligible stars find love on TV. Watch it live on ABC starting July 14.

The Ultimate Surfer

Tun in for ABC’S newest competition show—The Ultimate Surfer. Created by 11-time World Surf League (WSL) Champion Kelly Slater, this show is guaranteed to makes some waves. The show will bring some of the world’s top up-and-coming surfers to live together as they compete at the WSL’s Surf Ranch—Slater’s human-made wave. The final episode will showcase two men and two women surfing their way to the title of The Ultimate Surfer and the chance to complete on the WSL Championship Tour. The series will be hosted by former National Football League quarterback Jesse Palmer. Sports anchor Erin Coscarelli and sports broadcaster Joe Turpel will serve as commentators with Slater appearing as a lead consultant. Surf’s up August 11 at 10 p.m. EST.

Bachelor in Paradise

After two years without Paradise, ABC has confirmed its long-awaited return on August 16. While only Dr. Joe Park has been confirmed, rumors are already flying about who else may be showing up to find love. Among those hinting at an appearance are Serena Pitt and Kit Keenan from Matt James’ season and Noah Erb and Chasen Nick from Clare Crawley/Tayshia Adam’s season. However, the cast isn’t the only thing leaving fans guessing—the location is also a mystery. Typically filmed in Mexico, ABC may be looking at new locations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Regardless, there’s lots of juicy drama to occupy your summer nights.
