SXSW Exclusive: Get Ready for the 2018 FIFA World Cup with FOX Sports

June 13, 2018

Back in March, we traveled to Austin, Texas to connect with FOX Sports at their *awesome* SXSW house. We ate tacos from around the world, celebrated the upcoming 2018 FIFA World CupTM and talked about life’s most important connections.

But now it’s here! The World CupTM  kicks off tomorrow, June 14 at 11 a.m. ET in Russia. 32 teams from around the world will compete in the month-long tournament that ends on July 15. Unfortunately, the U.S. is opting out this year (yes, we know they didn’t qualify), but there are still many talented and incredible teams playing that you won’t want to miss. You can view the full schedule, here.

How can you watch the World CupTM?

Games broadcasted in English can be found watched on Fox FS1, while the Spanish broadcast can be found on either Telemundo or Universo.

Viewers can stay up to date with the latest previews, scores and stats with the Contour Sports App. The World Cup Home in the Sports Guide will give you instant access to everything World CupTM. You can find up-to-date match scores and tournament schedules.

Using the Voice Remote, fans see how their favorite nations stack up against the competition, see upcoming games, a FIFA World Cup Summary and tune to games directly: for example “World Cup,” “France,” “Argentina vs. Brazil,” “Copa Mundial” or “El Mundial.”

Visit Cox’s FIFA World Cup Hub to download the FOX Sports app, watch match highlights and expert analysis from FOX Sports, and Find FS1 on your Cox lineup.

Let the games begin!
