Voice Command Your Way Through the NBA Playoffs

April 05, 2019

Staying on top of the NBA Playoffs is easier than ever with the Contour Voice Remote and Sports App on your TV

The NBA Playoffs are just around the corner and lucky sports fans never have to miss a shot, dunk or score, thanks to today's incredible technology. You can be at home or stream on the road (from anywhere!) for up-to-the-minute highlights from your favorite teams. Cox has you covered.

When you're in the comfort of your home, the Contour Voice Remote in conjunction with the Contour Sports app, will create a virtual basketball haven and keep you updated on ALL the action. Set the stage by prompting the remote with: "show me sports app." Then you can get the lay of the basketball land with general questions, like, "What basketball games are on today?" and "What basketball games are on tomorrow?" All of the match-ups will be displayed in their glory, giving you a master view of the playoff schedule so you can plan accordingly.

For the games you aren't able to watch, you can pull the app up for real-time stats and keep up with the current standings. This comes in especially handy when someone else has taken control of the TV, and you just want a sneak peek of the latest scores.

When you have the remote back in your grasp, you can get in-depth analysis and any stat imaginable just by asking for it. Here are some other voice commands to try out:

  • "Compare Phoenix Suns and Oklahoma City Thunder"
  • "Stephen Curry stats"
  • "Atlanta Hawks schedule"

The great thing about the app is that it's a treasure trove of information. When you want to take a break from NBA action, the sports app will also provide other highlights, whether it's the leader board of a golf tournament, NCAA lacrosse scores or anything else you're seeking.

And clearly, when it comes to being the NBA playoff trivia champ in your group of friends, you have technology by your side. All you have to do is ask.
