May 04, 2018

undefined

Fall has arrived. That means football, school buses, pumpkin spiced everything, leaves falling off trees, leaves being raked into piles, wind blowing the leaves back around the yard and raking all the leaves into a new pile to start the process again. Such is the cycle of life. Oh, and it also means new seasons of some of the best TV shows!
Even if you had all the time in the world, there’s no way you could watch every amazing TV show that’s on right now. Why guess at what you should be watching when you could binge these shows instead and then dive right into their new seasons?

The Good Place – Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. on NBC

When Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell) dies, she happily finds herself welcomed to The Good Place by its Architect (Ted Danson). But Eleanor quickly realizes someone made a mistake and that she should have ended up in The Bad Place, leading her to desperately figure out a way to stay without being found out. Created by Michael Schur, who was also behind both Parks & Recreation and Brooklyn Nine-NineThe Good Place is one of the funniest new shows on TV and currently sports a 95% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Nathan for You – Thursdays at 10 p.m. on Comedy Central

A spoof on low budget “people from TV appear to fix your life or business” reality shows, Nathan for You’s hilarity is rooted in the awkward sincerity with which Nathan convinces real people to pursue incredibly dumb ideas in order to improve their businesses. Nathan for You is entering its fourth season and only seems to get better as it goes. Though it is not officially rated by Rotten Tomatoes, it has an audience freshness score of 93%.
