Touchscreen 4G power adapter FAQs

  • Ensure power is running to the outlet by plugging in another device, such as a lamp
  • Ensure power to the outlet is not controlled by a wall switch
  • Confirm that the adapter is inserted fully into the outlet and screwed to the wall plate
  • Verify that the power plug is inserted fully into the touchscreen
  • In the ‘setting’ menu, there will be an additional option for screens with the 4G power adapter installed called ‘Touchscreen Power Adapter’.  If you see this, your power adapter is working.
  • The status of the 4GPA and cellular strength can be viewed under the Zigbee health check under ‘Connectivity’.  It should say ‘Online’ in the upper right-hand corner.

There is no monthly charge for this device.  However, if you disconnect your services, you need to return the Touchscreen and power adapter to Cox to avoid a non return fee.  (should we call out that there is only a non return fee for the TS?)
