Start the setup right from your mobile device. 1. Have you downloaded the [Cox app](https://www.cox.com/residential/learn/cox-app.html)? If not, let's do that now before we begin. 2. With your Easy Connect kit, we provide everything needed to complete your install, including a coax cable, power cord, Ethernet cable, and your gateway device. 3. In the Cox app, use your Cox user ID and password to sign-in. 4. At the top of the **Home** tab, click the **Start Easy Connect** message to begin the onscreen instructions. An Easy Connect install takes about 10 to 30 minutes to complete. Oliver, our virtual assistant, is available to help with any questions along the way. 5. Easy Connect is a way for you to self-install your Cox Services – created to be easier and more convenient for you. ### How is Easy Connect different from Pro Connect? Easy Connect lets you set up your new services at your convenience with our full support. Even better, it's totally free. Pro Connect requires you to schedule a technician to come to your home and install your services. Pro Connect also has a charge associated with this install experience. ### Which services/products can be self-installed with Easy Connect? TV, phone, Internet and some Homelife accessories can be installed with Easy Connect. ### Does Easy Connect cost anything? No. Easy Connect is totally free. ### What's in it for me when I self-install my services with Easy Connect? Easy Connect allows you to install your new Cox Services whenever you want, anywhere in your home (we'll provide tips for placing your equipment). ### Am I required to use Easy Connect to self-install my services? No, we have other install options but we encourage all of our customers to use Easy Connect to have the simplest, most convenient installation possible. ### What if I run into issues during installation? If you run into any issues, you can visit the Easy Connect website to view helpful support videos, chat with us online, visit support forums or call tech support. ### Where can I get the tools and information I need to self-install my services? Pro Connect Conversion (PCC): required when a customer experiences issues during the self-install process or up to 30 days after completing a self-install. Cost: up to $100. Trouble Call: required when a customer with active services experiences issues and has not completed a self-install in the prior 30 days. (Note: trouble calls are not scheduled during an outage, as the in-home/premise technician cannot resolve an outage.)
