Cox Homelife allows you to control your home from the palm of your hand. Arm and disarm your system. Lock or unlock doors. Monitor live video. Control lights and adjust your thermostat. All from the convenient Homelife mobile app.

Security

Strategically placed motion detectors, glass break and door/window sensors provide maximum coverage of your home, alerting you to any security breach. Set rules to control multiple features – door locks, lights, thermostats – when you arm or disarm your system.

Door Locks

If you have Smart Door Locks installed, you can remotely lock and unlock the door with one touch, and set custom codes for anyone needing access to your home. You can also set rules to control multiple features – lights, thermostats, cameras – when you lock or unlock your door.

Cameras

Video cameras let you monitor your home while you’re there or away. Watch live video; take a picture or record a video clip; or set rules for actions, such as taking a picture when the front door opens. 24-hour video recording and Cloud storage can be viewed online via your desktop computer.

Lights

Control connected lights manually through your mobile app, or set a daily schedule. You can also set rules that automatically turn lights on or off based on events, such as when you open a protected door or disarm the system.

Thermostats

Adjust your smart thermostats when you're home or away for convenient comfort. Control the temperature manually, or set daily or seasonal schedules to save on energy costs.

Rules

Rules allow you to customize and personalize your system to respond to pre-defined events as they occur, such as notifying you when an alarm is triggered. They also allow different elements of your system to work together — connected lights, cameras and thermostats — for increased convenience and efficiency, all of which can be turned on or off with a simple swipe.
