Plus, enjoy TV on the go with the Contour app. ## Getting started with your Contour TV box ### Plug in the Contour box - First, connect the coax cable to an active cable outlet and the Contour box. - Connect the HDMI cord to your TV and the Contour box. - Plug in the power cord to an electrical outlet and connect it to the Contour box. - TIP: Plug the coax cable into a centrally located cable outlet or use the same outlet where the old device was connected. ### Activate the Contour box - Turn on your TV. Then using your original TV remote, press the Source or Input button and select the correct HDMI connection. - You'll be prompted to follow on-screen instructions. Hang tight for a few minutes for the activation to finish. ### Set up your new Voice Remote - Just follow the on-screen instructions to set up your new Voice Remote. When you see "All Set", press OK. ## Universal Search ### Find your favorites faster Stop opening and closing apps to track down content. Even if you don't know where it's streaming, Universal Search will check across every platform to pull it up. Use the sound of your voice and your remote to quickly find the content you love. ## Contour Voice Remote ### Just say the word This award-winning remote lets you control your TV with just the sound of your voice. Press the Contour button on your remote to pull up the Main Menu. Scroll to the Settings tab and press OK 2. Scroll down to Parental Controls. Press OK. Scroll down to Parental Control PIN. Press OK 3. Think of a four-digit PIN and enter it on screen. Re-enter the PIN to confirm 4. You'll see a confirmation message that your PIN is all set 5. Press the Exit key to go back to regular TV viewing ### Set up your features 1. Press the Contour button on your remote to pull up the Main Menu 2. Scroll to the Settings tab and press OK 3. Scroll down to Parental Controls and press OK 4. Enter your four-digit PIN to open the Parental Controls menu ### Lock channels 1. Press Guide on your remote to pull up the Program Guide 2. Scroll to a channel you want to lock 3. Scroll left to highlight the logo and channel number, then press OK 4. Scroll right to highlight Lock, then press OK 5. Enter your four-digit Parental Controls PIN 6. Enter it one more time to confirm ### Unlock channels 1. Press Guide on your remote to pull up the Program Guide 2. Scroll to a channel you want to unlock 3. Scroll left to highlight the logo and channel number, then press OK 4. Scroll to highlight Lock, then press OK 5.
