Using the Contour Stocks In-Guide App

Press the CONTOUR button on the Cox remote, to access the Main Menu.

Use the right arrow to highlight Apps, then press OK.

Use the arrow buttons, locate Daily Life, highlight Stocks, then press OK.

Result: The in-guide Stocks app main screen displays, showing the Your Stocks list.

Use the table below to adjust the in-guide Stocks app and access different options.

View Hot Stocks list of trending stocksFrom Your Stocks view, use the right arrow to switch to the Hot Stocks view. Use the left arrow to switch back to the Your Stocks view.
View details for a stockFrom Your Stocks or Hot Stocks, use the up and down arrows to highlight a stock, then press OK.
View recent news about a stock
    1. While viewing stock details, use the arrows to highlight Recent News, then press OK.

      Result: A list of related news articles displays.
       
    2. Use the arrows to highlight an article you want to read, then press OK.
Add a stock to the Your Stocks list
    1. From Your Stocks, use the down arrow to highlight Add Stock, then press OK.

      Result: The Add Stock screen displays.
       
    2. Use the arrows to highlight each letter of the company name or stock symbol, pressing OK to select each letter.
    3. When the target stock displays in the Search Results, use the down arrow to highlight it, then press OK.

      Result: A confirmation message displays.
       
    4. Press OK to confirm that you want to add this stock.
Delete a stock from the Your Stocks list
    1. From Your Stocks, use the down arrow to highlight the stock you want to delete.
    2. Press the right arrow to highlight the X symbol, then press OK.

      Result: A confirmation message displays.
       
    3. Press OK to confirm that you want to delete this stock.

Press Last to return to the Apps menu, or press Exit to return to TV viewing.
