Using Cox Hotspots with Enhanced Wifi on an iOS Device

Use the steps below to download the Secure W2 app to use Enhanced Wifi on your iOS devices.

Notes:

• To prevent issues connecting to the COX SSID, do not delete the Secure W2 app.
• If you are outside of the home, connect to the COX SSID. After connecting once, the device will automatically connect to CoxWiFi Hotspots using the COX SSID.
• If you are inside the home, you may not be able to connect to the COX SSID.

Go to Enroll in Enhanced Wifi.

Tap JoinNow.

Tap Allow.

Result: The profile downloads.

Tap Close.

Go to Settings and tap Profile Downloaded.

Tap Install.

Enter your password.

Tap Install.

Tap Install again.

Tap Done.

Result: The new configuration profile displays.

Tap Settings, then Wi-Fi.

Select the COX or COX WiFi SSID.

Note: If your device connects to the CoxWiFi SSID instead of COX, then in your settings, go to CoxWiFi and select Forget the network to default to the COX SSID.
