Upgrading Your Services Using the My Account App on the Contour Box

Through the My Account App on your Contour TV receiver or Contour Stream Player receiver, you can perform the following actions:

• Add Unlimited Data Plan to your Internet service
• Add Cox Complete Care to your accounts
• Add DVR service (Contour TV only)
• Upgrade your DVR tier (Contour TV only)

Parental controls can be set up to require a PIN to access the My Account App. See Managing Parental Controls for the Contour TV Receiver Apps for more information.

Access the My Account app through one of the following options:

• If using the voice command, then press the Mic button and say "My Account". For more information, refer to Using Voice Command on the Contour Remote.
• If using the navigation options, then complete the following steps.
  1. Press the Contour button.
  2. From the Menu, use the arrow buttons to highlight Apps, then press OK.
  3. Highlight My Account.
  4. Press OK.

Complete the following steps to activate the My Account app on your account.

1. Using a mobile device or a computer, access the authorization website through one of the following options.
   • Scan the QR code that displays on the screen.
   • In your browser, go to https://login.cox.com/activate and enter the code as it shows on the screen.
2. Enter your Cox User ID and Password to sign in.

Result: The Device activated page displays and the My Account app screen displays on your TV.

Using the arrow buttons on your Cox remote, select the option for the services you are adding or upgrading and press OK.

• Add or Upgrade DVR
• Add Unlimited Data Plan
• Add Cox Complete Care

Only options available for your account will display.

Complete the following steps.

1. Review the list of available upgrades and the cost associated with each option.
2. Select the option you want to upgrade to.
3. Press OK.

Review the TERMS & CONDITIONS and select Accept & Continue.

If you have set up a Purchase PIN or a Parental Control PIN, you will be required to enter your PIN.
