Unenrolling From Two-Step Verification Online

Solution

Complete the steps below to remove two-step verification in your online My Account profile.

Important: If you are enrolled due to a comprised account or are Cox Mobile customer, you cannot unenroll from Two-Step Verification.

From the Cox.com homepage, click the person icon.

Enter your User ID and Password.

Note: If you do not remember your User ID or Password, or experience an issue signing in, see Recover Your Cox User ID or Reset Your Cox Password.

From the My Account page, click the arrow on the Account section.

From the My Profile page, under Password, Security & Privacy, click Two-step verification.

From the Two-step verification window, click Turn off.

The Unenroll confirmation pop-up window displays. Click Submit to unenroll.

Result: The Two-step verification window now displays Status: OFF.
