  • After the cable modem has successfully registered in the network, the activity LEDs provide a clear indication of start-up sequence, operational status, and connectivity status.
  • The Reset button is used to restore all settings to factory defaults and is recessed to prevent accidental resets. To restore factory default settings, press and hold the reset button with a paper clip until the front panel LED flashes, typically longer than 10 seconds.
  • ETHERNET - Connects an RJ-45 Ethernet cord to a device.

The back of Ubiquiti UCI has the following ports.

  • Cable Coaxial Input - Connects the coax cable to the cable wall outlet.
  • Power - Connects the power cord to the gateway.
     

MAC Address

MAC addresses are written as 12 digits containing both letters and numbers (0-9, A-F). Each MAC address is unique, with the first 6 characters of the MAC being unique to the device manufacturer.

Note: The Serial Number (SN) and the Mac Address are the same number for this modem.
