Turning Off Voice Mail

By default, an unanswered call go to your Voice Mail after four rings. Changing the rings to nine allows your personal answering machine, if you have one, to intercept the call. To disable the Voice Mail feature of your Cox Voice service, use the following steps.

Sign in to Voice Tools at voicetools.cox.com.

Click to expand the Settings menu.

Click Voice Mail and then click the Off button.
