Troubleshooting the Wifi Connection for the Homelife Video Doorbell

Follow the steps below to bring your Homelife Video Doorbell back online or resolve connectivity issues.

Complete the following steps to verify that your WiFi is working:

  1. Connect another device, like a laptop, to your gateway.
  2. Try to load a webpage.
    • If the other device connects, continue to the next step.
    • If the other device does not connect, contact us to troubleshoot your gateway.

You need at least 2 Mbps of download speed on the device accessing the camera in order to have optimal video playback.

Complete the following steps to restart your gateway.

  1. Log in to the Cox Panoramic Wifi app.
  2. On the Overview screen, scroll down to Restart your Gateway, and tap Let’s Do It.
  3. Tap Restart Gateway.
