Troubleshooting the Cox Homelife Camera Offline

Solution

Follow these steps to bring your camera back online.

Make sure your camera is plugged into a working power outlet.

Unplug the camera from the power outlet and wait 10 seconds before plugging it back in. The camera will restart, which takes about three minutes.

Note: The camera should be no more than three rooms away from the gateway and should not be blocked by any large furniture.

Verify that your WiFi is working:

  1. Connect another device, like a laptop, to your gateway.
  2. Try to load a webpage.
    • If the other device connects, continue to the next step.
    • If the other device does not connect, contact us to troubleshoot your gateway.

Complete the following steps to restart your gateway.

  1. Log in to the Cox Panoramic Wifi app.
  2. On the Overview screen, scroll down to Restart your Gateway, and tap Let’s Do It.
  3. Tap Restart Gateway.
