Signing in to the Max App

Solution

Follow the steps below to sign in to the Max App.

Access the Max App on your Contour receiver. To learn more about how to access the app, refer to Accessing the Apps on a Contour Receiver.

Note: Using the Contour Voice Remote, speak, "Max" to quickly access the app.

From the Max App, select the appropriate option from the list below and then press OK.

Subscribe Now - Use this option if you do not subscribe to Max.
Connect Your Provider - Use this option if you subscribe to Max through Cox.
Sign In - Use this option if you already subscribe to Max but not through Cox.

Note: If you wish to subscribe Max which provides free access to HBO channels, HBO On Demand, and the Max App, then contact us to add Max before continuing the sign in process. Not all plans include HBO channels or HBO On Demand.

Complete the steps in the table below based on your selection.

If selecting...	Then...
Subscribe Now	Follow the on-screen instructions to subscribe through Cox.
Connect Your Provider	Go to max.com/providers and enter the code displayed. Note: Stay on the code screen on your TV through the next steps. Select Cox and then follow the steps displayed on the website to log in using your Cox credentials. Result: The website displays, "All Done!" and your TV screen automatically opens the Max App.
Sign In	Enter the email address and password associated with your Max account. Note: This option is not selected for Max subscription through Cox. Result: The website displays, "All Done!" and your TV screen automatically opens the Max App.
