Signing In to the ESPN App

Solution

Follow the steps below to sign in to the ESPN app.

Note: The ESPN app includes both free and paid content. Additional information, including the cost for paid content, is available on the ESPN+ website.

Access the ESPN app on your Contour box. To learn more about how to access the app, refer to Accessing the Apps on a Contour Box.

Note: Using the Contour Voice Remote, speak, "ESPN plus" to quickly access the app.

From the home screen, in the top menu, select ESPN.

Highlight Sign Up Now and press Select.

Select from the following options.

If…Then…
You already subscribe to ESPN+Complete the following steps:
  1. Highlight Log In and press Select.
  2. Using a browser on your computer or mobile device, go to https://espn.com/activate.
  3. Enter the code that displays on your TV.
  4. Click Continue.
You do not subscribe to ESPN+Complete the following steps:
  1. Highlight the plan you wish to sign up for and press Select.
  2. Using a browser on your computer or mobile device, go to https://espn.com/subscribe.
  3. Enter the code that displays on your TV.
  4. Click Continue.

Follow the steps in the table based on your choice to sign in.

If...Then...
You have an existing ESPN account

Complete the following steps:

  1. From the ESPN Log in page, enter your Username or Email Address and Password.
  2. Click Log In.

    Results: A Success! message displays on your web browser and a Congratulations! message displays on your TV screen.
You are signing up for a new service for the first time.

Complete the following steps:

  1. From the ESPN Log in page, click Sign Up.
  2. Complete the form to create your ESPN account and click Sign Up.
  3. Complete the form to enter your payment information.

Note: Billing is handled by ESPN+ and does not display on your Cox bill.
