Signing In to the Apple TV+ App

Solution

Follow the steps below to sign in to the Apple TV+ subscription streaming app.

Note: A Apple TV+ subscription is required. Additional features, such as maintaining orders and subscriptions, purchase history, available credit, and much more are available on the Apple TV+ website.

Access the Apple TV+ app on your Contour box. To learn more about how to access the app, refer to Accessing the Apps on a Contour Box.

Note: Using the Contour Voice Remote, speak, "Apple TV plus" to quickly access the app.

From the Welcome screen, select Sign In, and then press Select.

From the Sign In screen, select Sign In on Mobile Device, and then press Select.

Complete either of the following steps to log in or sign up.
  • Using the camera or a QR reader app on your mobile device, scan the QR code on the screen.
  • Using a browser on your computer or mobile device, complete the following steps:
    1. Go to https://activate.apple.com/.
    2. Enter the code that displays on your TV.
    3. Click Continue.

Follow the steps in the table based on your choice to sign in.

If...Then...
You have an existing Apple TV+ accountFrom the Apple TV Sign-in page, sign in with your Apple ID and Password.
You are signing up for a new service for the first time.

From the Apple TV Sign-in page, complete the following steps.

  1. Next to Don't have an Apple ID, click Create yours now.
  2. Complete the form to create your Apple ID and enter payment information.

Note: Billing is handled by Apple TV+ and does not display on your Cox bill.
