Setting Up WiFi With the Ubee DDW366, DDW365, or DVW326

Solution

Use the steps below to access the Ubee admin portal to set up or change WiFi network names and passwords for the following gateways.

  • Ubee DDW365
  • Ubee DDW366
  • Ubee DVW326

To access the Ubee admin portal in a web browser, go to 192.168.100.1.

Note: On some mobile devices, the web browser may require you to enter the full URL of https://192.168.100.1.

Log in to the admin portal with the following steps.

  1. In the User Name field, enter user.
  2. In the Password field, enter user.
  3. Click Apply.

Result: A prompt displays to change the admin portal login credentials in order to access the modem settings.

To change the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz network names, you'll access two different pages for each band. On the top menu, click the Wireless tab, then complete the following steps.

  1. On the left-hand menu, click Radio.
  2. From the Wireless Interfaces drop-down menu, select a WiFi network name.
  3. Click Apply.

In the left-hand menu, click Primary Network.

From the Primary Network tab, complete the following steps.

  1. In the Network Name (SSID) field, enter a new network name.
  2. In the WPA Pre-Shared Key field, enter a new password.
  3. Click Apply.

Note: If the device used to change the network name and password is connected to the WiFi network, then within 60 seconds of updating the network and password, the device loses internet connection and must be reconnected. Additionally, all other WiFi-ready devices in the home must be connected to the new network.

To set up a second WiFi network, repeat steps 3-5, selecting the other network name from the Wireless Interfaces drop-down menu instead.
