With Cox Voice, you can schedule the phone to call or email you with important information.
Reminders
These are pre-recorded messages that you can send to your home phone at specific times during the day. They can be used to for the following:
- Appointments
- Time to wake up
- Birthdays
- Anniversaries
- Medicines
To set up Reminders, follow these steps:
- From the main menu, press 71.
- Select from the following:
- To schedule and record a one-time reminder, press 11.
- To schedule and record a daily (weekly, weekend) reminder, press 12.
- To edit and existing reminder, press 2.
Notifications
These are system voice prompts that are sent to your cell phone, pager, or email address when a voice mail arrives in your mailbox. Notifications can be set up to work for the following:
- Any time a voice mail arrives in your mailbox
- Only if voice mail arrives when you're at work, on vacation, or during the weekend
- Only if voice mail arrives with an urgent or normal stamp
To set up Notifications indicating a voice mail arrived, follow these steps:
- From the main menu, press 44.
- Select from the following:
- To have the phone to call you, press 12.
Note: For long-distance calls, standard Cox long-distance pricing may apply and appear on your Cox billing statement.
- To schedule the phone to call your pager, press 13.
- To schedule the phone to email you, press 15.
- To have the phone to call you, press 12.
