Setting a Purchase PIN on Cox TV Receivers and DVRs

A Purchase PIN lets you control purchases from On Demand and Pay-Per-View on your Cox TV receiver. To set a Purchase PIN follow the below steps.

Press the SETTINGS button on the remote.

Press the up or down arrow buttons to highlight the Parental Controls option.

Press the SELECT button or the right arrow button on the remote.

Use the up or down arrows to highlight Set Purchase PIN.

Press the SELECT button.

Result: A dialog box asks you to set up a Purchase PIN.

Press the B button to begin the set-up process.

Use the number keys (0-9) on the remote control to set a four-digit PIN.

Re-enter the four-digit PIN to confirm that it was entered correctly.

Press the A button to confirm.
