Setting a Parental Control PIN With Contour

A PIN must be created before any blocks or locks and helps prevent unauthorized changes.

Press the CONTOUR button on your remote control.

Press the right arrow to scroll over to highlight Settings, which is represented by a gear icon, then press OK.

Press the down arrow to highlight Parental Controls, then press OK.

Note: The Auto-Set Parental Controls displays. Select Skip to continue to set up the PIN.

Press the down arrow to highlight Parental Control PIN, then press OK to set up or change the Parental Control PIN.

Enter a new four-digit PIN.

Re-enter the PIN to confirm.

Result: The locking option displays once the PIN is set.

Press EXIT to resume viewing.
