Resetting Your Cox User ID Password Using Text Me

Solution

From the Select reset option page, click the Text me tab.

Result: The Text me page displays phone numbers that have been identified on the account as mobile numbers. The phone numbers are partially hidden for your security.

Select the phone number that you want to receive the text message and then click Text this phone.

From the Verify your phone number page, enter the six-digit verification code sent to your phone number and then click Verify.

From the Create password page, enter your New Password and then click Save changes.

From the Your Cox password has been updated page, click Sign in to My Account to continue to the Sign In to Your Cox Account page.
