Requesting Proof of Alarm Installation for Cox Homelife From Cox.com


Some homeowner's insurance policies offer discounts when alarm systems are installed. In the Cox Homelife welcome packet, we include an insurance certificate.

  • The certificate is only available to active Homelife customers.
  • The Active as of date on the certificate populates with the date the PDF is downloaded. This informs the insurance companies that the system is being actively monitored. The orginal install date does not display.
  • The certificate displays the Account holders information and includes the standard secuirty features. Once the form is printed, mark or check any of the additional Homelife features or devices you have installed, such as smoke detectors.

Use the following process to print a copy of the insurance certificate from Cox.com.

From Cox.com, sign in to MyAccount.


Scroll to locate MyHomelife.


Click Insurance Certificate.

From the Homelife Insurance Certificate window, click Open Your Certificate.
