Replacing the Battery in Water Sensors

Solution

Follow the instructions below or watch the video for steps to replace your battery.
 

Important: After replacing the equipment battery, acknowledge any error on the touchscreen and then reboot it. Refer to Rebooting the Homelife Touchscreen.

  1. Remove the cover-removing screw with a Phillips screwdriver and set it aside.
  2. Pry the base from the cover and set it aside.
  3. Remove the old battery and dispose of it properly, as recommended by the battery manufacturer.
  4. Insert the tab-like base until it catches with the cover into the base’s tab openings.
  5. Close the sensor and replace the screw.

  1. Remove the sensor cover.
  2. Remove the old battery and dispose of it properly, as recommended by the battery manufacturer.
  3. Install the new batteries.
  4. Replace the cover by gently snapping it back into place.
