Replacing Batteries in the Door and Window Sensor

1. While pressing down, slide the cover to the side to remove the sensor cover.
2. Remove the battery from the sensor.
3. Insert the new battery, observing the correct polarity.
4. Dispose of the old battery properly, as recommended by the battery manufacturer.
5. Replace the sensor cover.

1. Insert a small flathead screwdriver into one of the small notches located on the same side as the magnet.
2. Twist the screwdriver to pop off the sensor cover and set it aside.
3. Remove the old battery and dispose of it properly, as recommended by the battery manufacturer.
4. Replace with the new battery.
5. Push the cover back on the sensor until it clicks into place.

1. Press down on the battery cover.
2. While pressing down, slide the cover to the side to open it.
3. Push against the clip and lift the old battery from the slot below it.
4. Dispose of the old battery properly, as recommended by the battery manufacturer.
5. Replace with the new battery.
6. Slide the cover back on the sensor until it clicks into place.

Note: This model is not available in Arizona, Las Vegas, or California.

1. Find the locking mechanism tab located on the narrow side of the sensor with the LED light pointing towards it.
2. Press the locking mechanism using a screwdriver until the back cover pops off.
3. Remove the old battery and dispose of it properly, as recommended by the battery manufacturer.
4. Replace with the new battery.
5. Replace the back cover by sliding the locking tab back into place on the sensor.

1. Find the notch located on the sensor.
2. Using your finger, pry the cover from the base.
3. Remove the old battery and dispose of it properly, as recommended by the battery manufacturer.
4. Replace with the new CR2032 battery, the + should be facing you.
5. Push the cover back on the sensor until it clicks into place.

1. Remove the cover-securing screw with a Phillips screwdriver and set it aside.
2. Pry the base from the cover and set it aside.
3. Remove the old battery and dispose of it properly, as recommended by the battery manufacturer.
4. Insert the tab-like base until it catches with the cover into the base’s tab openings.
5. Close the sensor and replace the screw.
