Reducing Your Video Quota for Cox Homelife

Use the tips below to assist you in lowering your video quota.

Modify Your Rules

If you set up rules to take video clips every time your camera senses motion, alter the Rule to take video clips only when your system is armed.

1. Sign in to your Homelife mobile app.
2. Select the Rules menu.
3. Scroll to the bottom and click the square adjustment icon on the When Security System modifier to adjust the rule to trigger only when your system is armed.

Adjust Motion Sensitivity

You can also adjust the motion sensitivity of the camera.

1. Sign in to your Homelife mobile app.
2. Go to the More menu and select Manage Devices.
3. Select the camera you would like to adjust and click EDIT.
4. Adjust the camera motion sensitivity between OFF, LOW, MED, and HI settings, then click SAVE.
