Recovering a Cox Homelife App Username and Password

Solution

Follow the below steps to reset your username or password on the Homelife mobile app.

Launch the Cox Homelife mobile app.

Notes:

  • Always provide a correct email address to receive account recovery emails.
  • The Homelife username and password were created during your Homelife installation and may differ from your MyAccount Cox credentials.

From the Sign In screen, tap Help if you do not remember your username or password.

From the Choose Action pop-up window, tap either Reset Password or Recover Username.

Note: Usernames and passwords can be any length and any combination of characters.

For Automation tier customers, follow these actions to reset your password or recover your username.

Notes:

  • Security and Automation tier customers follow the same actions to recover your username. To recover your password, complete the next step.
  • Security tier customers are required to enter their master code.
  • The email address is case sensitive.

Follow the instructions on the Check Your Email message, advising to locate the email sent to the primary email address for your account.
