Move or Transfer Your Cox Services

Solution

If you are moving and would like to have Cox services at your new location, follow the steps below to submit a new move or transfer request.

For additional tips, FAQs, and information on moving or transferring your Cox service, please visit www.cox.com/residential/move.html.

From the Cox app or Cox.com, sign into your account using your User ID and Password.

Under the Account header, beneath your address, click Move my service.

Result: The Move page displays.

Enter the new address and then click Check availability to determine if Cox services are available.

Use the table below to determine the next steps based on the message displayed.

If... Then...
Service can be provided

The following message displays to advise service is available at the address entered.

Click Continue to review plan to review your account and decide how you would like to transfer your service.

Note: You can also make changes to your service.

Service cannot be provided

The following message displays to advise services are not available at the address entered.

To disconnect your service, contact a Cox Representative at the number provided. To find the service provider for your area, click Find my provider.
