Move or Transfer Your Cox Services


If you are moving and would like to have Cox services at your new location, follow the steps below to submit a new move or transfer request.


From the Cox.com home page, click Sign In My Account and Enter your User ID and Password.

: If you do not remember your User ID or Password, or experience an issue signing in, see Recover Your Cox User ID or Reset Your Cox Password.

Result: The My Account menu displays.


Click Move My Services.

Result: The Transfer Your Cox Services page displays.


Your sign-in status determines your next step.

If Then
You do not have sign-in credentials

Use the Look up Your Current Account feature.

  1. Complete the following fields.
      • First Name
      • Last Name
      • Phone Number
      • Street Address
      • Apartment Number
      • Zip Code

  2. Click the Look-up Account button.
You have sign-in credentials but you are not signed-in Sign-in.
You have sign-in credentials and you are signed-in Continue to the next step.

Enter the following information in the What is your new address? form.

  • New Address
  • Phone Number
  • Email Address
  • Preferred disconnect date

Click the Check Availability button to see if the address is serviceable by Cox.

Result: There are two possible results.

Additional information is not required Details regarding your request display.
