Modifying Secondary User Settings


As of August 15, 2019, Cox no longer offers the ability for new and existing Cox Internet customers to create new Cox Email accounts.

Refer to the following steps to modify an existing secondary user.


Locate the User ID you want to modify, click Modify user.

  1. From the Manage Secondary User window, update the required information.
  2. Click Save changes.

    Note: Place a check in the Allow this user access to all billing and payment areas. box to grant a secondary user the same access to the account billing and payment areas as the primary User ID. For more information, see Understanding Digital Identities and Account Types.

    Result: A green confirmation message displays.
