The Cox Support Forums is where customers can collaborate with each other to resolve issues they may be experiencing. To access the Support Forums, click the button below.

Manage Your Profile

You can add a brief description of yourself in your profile so that other forum members can learn a little bit about you. For example, you can describe yourself, your interests, your favorite football team or band, and even your favorite Cox services or equipment.

Note: Adding biographical information to your profile is optional. Keep in mind that whatever you post here is not private and is available for other forum members to view.

From any forum page, locate and click your name in the upper right of the screen.

In the drop-down menu, select My Settings.

Note: Selecting Profile displays your information but does not allow edits.

Select one of the following tabs then enter the information as desired.

Note: All fields are optional.

PersonalThe fields available display information to others that select your user avatar to help them understand who you are.

The following fields are available.

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Preferred Gender Pronoun
  • Location
  • Bio
  • Personal Notes
  • Personal Site
PreferencesPreferences allow you to adjust your settings.

The following settings can be altered.

  • Time Zone
  • Language
  • Date Display Style
  • Date Display Format
Follows & NotificationsNotifications settings can be set up.
  • Follows allows you to view any thread you may be following.
  • Choose to receive email notifications and set the conditions when to receive a notification.
  • Advanced Settings allow for additional notifications as desired.
