Managing Parental Controls for the Contour TV Receiver Apps

Use the Parental Controls to lock the access to the applications.

• This limits access to all or individual applications within the specific Contour receiver.
• This restricts the ability to sign up for applications or Streaming Subscription services that qualify for Cox billing, such as Netflix or Ride TV.
• Most of the applications have blocking functions that limit their own content built within the app. For more information about parental controls available within a specific app, refer to the support site for the streaming service.
• The Contour receiver parental controls work with the parental controls available within select applications.

Have you set up your Parental Control PIN?

• If yes, then continue to the next step.
• If no, then before continuing to complete Setting a Parental Control PIN With Contour.

Choose one of the following to access the Parental Control menu.

• Press the Contour button.
•  Press the Mic button and say, "Parental Controls." Proceed to step 4.

Press the arrow buttons to highlight Settings, then press OK.

Press the down arrow button to highlight Parental Controls, then press OK.
 
Enter your four-digit PIN.

Press the down arrow to highlight Application Locks, then press OK.

Perform one of the following to either lock, unlock, or adjust lock settings for the apps.
