Managing Lighting Devices With Your Mobile App

Solution

Follow the steps below to control and manage your connected lights and smart plugs with your mobile device.

Sign in to the Cox Homelife mobile app.

On the Overview screen, adjust the brightness of your dimmable lights using the slider. You can also tap the Lights tile to control all your connected lights and smart plugs.

From the Lights screen, control and view the status of all the connected lights and smart plugs in your home. Follow the steps below to control your lighting.

  1. Tap the bulb icon associated with a specific light or smart plug to turn that device on or off.
  2. If you have multiple lights or smart plugs, tap the ALL ON or ALL OFF button at the top of the screen to turn all the devices on or off.
  3. If the light can be dimmed, you can use the slider to dim the light.

To manage your connected lights, tap the More tab and select Manage Devices.

On the Manage Devices screen, select the device you would like to manage. Tap inside the Device Name field to edit the device name.

On the Edit Device screen, tap Placement Tips for tips on placing your devices.

When you are finished editing your device, tap Done.
