Follow the steps below to manage internet connection settings in Windows 10.

• Reset TCP/IP Address

Viewing Internet Connection Details

Learn how to view your internet connection details.

From the Taskbar, complete the following.

1. Click the Start icon, then click Settings.
2. Click Network & Internet.
3. Click Network and Sharing Center.

To view the network details for your network connection, use the following steps.

1. Click the icon for your connection type next to Connections.

   Result: The Network Connection Details window displays.

   

Reset TCP/IP Address

Use the steps below to reset the TCP/IP address in Windows 10.

From the taskbar, click the Start icon.

From the Command Prompt window, choose one of the following.

1. Enter the information as directed and do not use spaces.
2. To view your IP address, enter ipconfig and press Enter
3. To release your IP address, enter ipconfig/release and press Enter.
4. To renew your IP address, enter ipconfig/renew and press Enter.
5. When finished, click the X in the upper right corner to close the Command Prompt window.
