Making Your Payment in the Cox App

Follow the steps below to pay your bill in the Cox app using your smartphone or other mobile devices.

To access the Cox app, complete the following steps.

1. Download the Cox App.
2. Sign in using your Cox User ID and Password.

From the Home screen, tap BILLING.
 

From the Billing screen, tap the Make a Payment button.
 

From the Make a Payment screen, complete the following steps.

1. Verify the Select Amount field shows the amount you wish to pay.
   • If correct, then continue to the next step.
   • Tap the Select Amount field if you are paying a different amount.
     • Tap Other and enter the amount you are paying.
     • Tap Done.
2. Tap the Payment Method field.
   • If your payment method is listed, then select the method and continue to the next step.
   • If the card or checking account is not listed, then use the table below to add the payment information.
     
     

     If paying by...	Then...
     Checking or savings	Under Add Payment Method, tap Bank Account. Enter the following information. Name on the account Your routing number and your account number Re-enter account number Using the drop-down menu, select Account Type
     Debit or credit card	Under Add Payment Method, tap Credit/Debit Card. Enter the following information. Name on card Card number and expiration date The Card Verification Value (CVV) number located on your credit or debit card is as follows. Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards - three-digit code located on the back of the card American Express card - four-digit code located on the front of the card above the last four digits of the card number Five-digit zip code of the account holder's address
     Apple Pay	Important: Ensure that you are making your payment from an IOS device and Apple Pay is enabled. Under Saved Forms of Payment, tap Apple Pay.

     
     Note: If you would like to save your payment method, put a check in the Save Method of Payment box. You can choose to use this saved method each time you return to make a payment.
     
     
3. Tap the Continue button.

To schedule your payment, complete the following steps.

1. Tap the Payment Date field.
2. Select the date that you would like to make the payment.
   
   Note: Late fee charges may apply if you select a date that is past the due date.
   
   
3. Tap the Continue button.
   
   

Complete the payment by tapping the Agree & Submit button.
 

Note: For Apple Pay, tap the Pay with Apple Pay button and follow the on-screen instructions.
 

Result: A Confirmation screen displays showing the payment details.
