Locating Your Previous Carrier Account Information

Solution

We recommend contacting your previous carrier to obtain your account information, including the account number and account PIN. It may also be required to contact your previous carrier to unlock the mobile device to be used with Cox Mobile.

  • Some carriers provide the account information with their mobile app or on the bill.
  • The account PIN is often used to authorize access to your account.
  • Visit the support site for your previous carrier for specific contact information.

Use the table below to locate your account number and PIN from your previous carrier.

  • For bundle bills only, the account number will be a 12-digit number under your wireless account summary.

    Important: Your AT&T account number is not located on your bill, invoice, or online account.
  • To get a number transfer PIN, complete the following steps.
    • Sign in to your MyAT&T app or go to signin.att.com.
    • From your profile, select People & Permissions.
    • From the Transfer phone number, select Request a new PIN.

      Result: Your Number Transfer PIN is displayed on the screen.

  • Your PIN is the four-digit number you use when calling your carrier.

Your account number is your 10-digit phone number.
  1. Go to https://my.freedompop.com
  2. Enter your email address and password in the appropriate fields.
  3. Click Login.
  4. From the left-hand corner, click the drop-down menu and select Settings.
  5. From the Settings menu, select Port Out Info.
Metro PCS
Visit your online Metro PCS profile.Your PIN is the 8-digit number used when calling Metro PCS.

Telus Wireless
  1. In the My Telus app, tap the Billing tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the screen, then tap Download bill (PDF).
  3. From the Download bill screen, locate your account number in the upper left corner.

At the top of your bill, locate your account number.
  1. In the Ting Wireless app, tap the Device Settings.
  2. From the Device Settings screen, select your phone number.


Result: Your PIN displays in the upper left corner.

  1. From your online account, click the Account drop-down menu.
  2. From the Account drop-down menu, select Account Overview.
