  • POWER - Connects to the power adapter
  • ETHERNET - Connects devices to the 10/100/1000 RJ45 Ethernet port
  • CABLE - Connects to a coaxial cable

  • The S/N is the serial number of the Linksys CM3008 modem.
  • The CM MAC is the MAC address of the Linksys CM3008 modem.

The lights indicate the current status of your modem. To troubleshoot any connection problems, use the table below.

BlinkingScanning for downstream channels. - Verify all cable connections and try resetting the modem.
Send

OffNo upstream channels are in use. - Verify all cable connections and try resetting the modem.
Status

OffThe modem is offline. - Verify all cable connections and try resetting the modem.
Ethernet

Ethernet light
OnA device is connected to the Ethernet port.
BlinkingData is being transferred over the Ethernet connection.
OffNo device is connected or the device is disabled. - Verify all cable connections and try resetting the modem.
Reset Button

N/APress and hold for five seconds to restore settings to factory defaults and reboot the modem.
