Installing the Technicolor 4G Power Adapter to the TCA203 Touchscreens

Solution

TCA203 Touchscreens rely on AT&T’s 3G network for cellular backup. Once AT&T no longer provides a 3G network, these touchscreens will not have a cellular backup in case of a broadband outage.

The 4GPA provides a 4G cellular connection for the TCA203 Touchscreens in case broadband goes down. Customers with a TCA203 Touchscreens will need to replace the old power adapter with the 4GPA.

  • The 4GPA ONLY works with the TCA203 touchscreen. The TCA301 and TCA400 touchscreens have 4G support and are not impacted by the AT&T 3G network shut down.
  • The 4GPA is easy to install and is meant to be a self-installable item. Eligible customers will get the device via drop-shipping.
  • See Cox Homelife 4G Power Adapter Instructions (PDF) for further details.
