Deleting a Cox Email Address


As of August 15, 2019, Cox no longer offers the ability for new and existing Cox Internet customers to create new Cox Email accounts. Refer to the following steps to delete a Cox Email account.

After a Cox Email account is deleted, it cannot be restored or reactivated.


Click My Account at the top of the homepage.


Sign in with your primary User ID and Password. You must sign in as the primary user to delete a Cox Email account.

Note: If you can't remember your password, click the Forgot Password? link under the Sign In button.


Click View My Profile.

Under User Accounts, click Manage Users.

Locate the User ID with the email account you are deleting.

  1. Click Delete email.

    Result: A pop-up window displays with a message that once the email account is deleted, it cannot be recovered.

  2. Click Delete Email Account.

    Result: A green confirmation message displays.
